Bruce Bochy Confirms Status For 2024

Bruce Bochy, the manager of the Texas Rangers, has officially confirmed that he will return for the 2024 season.

Bochy recently led the Rangers to their first-ever World Series championship, which marked the fourth World Series title of his career.

He signed a three-year contract with the Rangers ahead of the 2023 season and has been named a finalist for the AL Manager of the Year award.

Under Bochy's leadership, the Rangers made significant progress in the 2023 season by improving their regular-season winning percentage.

The team went from 68 wins in 2022 to an impressive 90 wins in 2023, ending a six-season streak of losing records.

Bruce Bochy, at 68 years old, has been managing in Major League Baseball for 26 years, starting in 1995 with the San Diego Padres.

He currently has 2,093 career wins, making him the 10th manager in all-time wins among MLB managers.

Bochy has the potential to climb to the 6th position in all-time wins by the end of the next season, as he is only 101 wins behind managers like Joe McCarthy, Bucky Harris, Dusty Baker, and Sparky Anderson.

He also joins an elite group of managers with at least four World Series titles, including Joe McCarthy, Casey Stengel, and Connie Mack, who have seven and five titles, respectively.

Bochy's return to the Rangers is highly anticipated, and fans are eager to see how he continues to shape the team's success in the upcoming season.
